Location: Downtown Raleigh
Dates: September 28-29, 2018 from Noon to 11 pm
You'll find both free and paid events taking place throughout the Wide Open Bluegrass Festival, and the main stage at the Red Hat Amphitheater is the place to be for some of the biggest names in bluegrass music. Enjoy shows from Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, Patty Loveless, The Wide Open Jam, the Gibson Brothers, the Trust, Chatham County Line, and many, many more. The main stage features performances throughout the event, and you can purchase tickets ahead of time to ensure that you get the perfect seat to watch your favorite artists.
All shows on the main stage take place in a gorgeous, outdoor setting, and the whole event is designed to be as family-friendly as possible. Whether you're a bluegrass aficionado or love live music, you'll feel right at home during the festival.
While shows on the main stage do have an admission price, a significant portion of the proceeds will be going to bluegrass musicians in need. The Bluegrass Trust Fund is a non-profit dedicated to providing financial assistance to professional bluegrass musicians with emergencies, and up to half of the proceeds from shows on the main stage will go toward supporting the organization. Enjoy a weekend of fabulous music, and support a good cause in the process.

Home. It's a word that carries a deep emotional connection. It's where you create memories, lay your head at night and spend time with your loved ones. Hurricane Florence has devastated the eastern part of the state leaving many without a home. Some homes are so damaged they aren't safe enough to live in. Some homes are submerged in water leaving only the roof visible. Some people remain unable to even get home to see if their house is still standing due to flooded roads.
This weekend, our Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston real estate agents will be hosting open houses across Central NC. We invite you to not only visit our open houses this weekend, but we ask that if you have any items you'd like to donate to those impacted by Hurricane Florence, bring those along. We will be taking a convoy of trucks to eastern NC next week to deliver much-needed supplies. Below is a list of items being requested at this time:
Pop-top canned goods
Personal hygiene products
Chainsaw + chainsaw supplies
We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you all at our area open houses this Saturday and Sunday.
